Kansas Home Sales Rose in January
Total home sales in Kansas rose by 8.3% last month to 26 units,
compared to 24 units in January 2019. Total sales volume was
$2.1 million, down 17.3% from a year earlier.
The median sale price in January was $77,750, down from
$96,000 a year earlier. Homes that sold in January were typically on the market for 128 days and sold for 95.6% of their list prices.
Kansas Active Listings Down at End of January
The total number of active listings in Kansas at the end of
January was 175 units, down from 200 at the same point in 2019. This represents a 4.4 months’ supply of homes available for sale. The median list price of homes on the market at the end of January was $73,500.
